Led-Practice | Guided Class
Styles: Gentle, Balance, Flow and Strong
Led practice is a structured and guided yoga session led by an instructor. During these sessions, the instructor leads participants through a series of sun salutations (surya namaskar), yoga poses (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation, providing clear instructions and demonstrations. Classes are available for all levels
Gentle practice will include 3 rounds of sun salutations, sitting and grounded postures held for 10-15 breaths aiming to target all muscle groups plus breathwork and relaxation phase at the end
Balance practice will include 7 rounds of sun salutations + standing, sitting and grounded postures held for 5-10 breaths aiming to target all muscle groups plus breathwork and relaxation phase at the end
Flow practice will include 12-24 rounds of sun salutations + recovery postures held for 5-10 breaths aiming to target all muscle groups plus breathwork and relaxation phase at the end
Strong practice will include 12 rounds of sun salutations + standing, sitting and grounded postures held for 10-15 breaths aiming to target all muscle groups plus targeted breathwork and relaxation phase at the end,
Self-Practice | Open House
Self-practice opens up the space for your own practice, for any 1:1 yoga sessions or even for small groups with a shared practice. Either you follow along with your favourite teacher online, practice some of the techniques learned during the led-class or just meet other members and practice together. An instructor will be available for any consult or questions you may have during this time.
Themes for open house based on recommended practice such as below which includes:
sun salutations (surya namaskar) around 7-12
yoga poses (asanas) 5x standing, 5x sitting, 5x grounded
breathing exercises (pranayama) for 3-5 rounds
meditation for 1-2 rounds
Opening the space allows us to create an environment with support, mindfulness and encouragement and promote community while improving our overall physical, emotional and mental health. We look forward to sharing the energy and space with you soon!
